Job summary

i3D.net is seeking a Data Center Construction Lead based in Rotterdam to drive the ground-up construction of a new data center capable of high-density workloads. You will own design readiness, coordinate with an engineering firm, general contractor, and vendors, and act as the owner’s technical representative on site.

You will validate cooling, power, redundancy, and capacity, manage risks, and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards throughout construction and handover.

Qualifications

• Experience leading design and construction of data centers.
• Strong ability to coordinate with engineering firms, GC, and vendors.
• Fluent in English; Dutch language skills are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the ready-to-build design and validate it meets business needs.
• Coordinate day-to-day site activities, schedules, and milestones.
• Identify risks and drive timely decisions with stakeholders.
• Represent the owner on site with contractors and suppliers.
• Promote safety culture and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Support commissioning, testing, turnover, and handover of the facility.
