Job summary
Arvato in Heijen is seeking a Hardware Technician to assemble, configure and test high-end server and data center hardware. You will build racks, configure systems, perform BIOS and firmware updates, and ensure on-time delivery to international customers.
You’ll work in a high-tech operations team with Production, Engineering and Quality, focusing on safety, quality and continuous improvements. An opportunity to grow within an international organization awaits.
Qualifications
- Experience in testing, configuring or assembling hardware, preferably within a high-tech or data center environment.
- Experience with imaging, BIOS configuration and firmware updates is an advantage.
- Experience with SAP or a similar ERP or production planning system.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset.
- Good command of the English language, both spoken and written.
- A structured, quality-focused approach with a strong commitment to safety.
Responsibilities
- Build and configure server racks for data center environments.
- Configure servers and hardware including BIOS updates and firmware upgrades.
- Perform technical quality inspections and functional hardware testing.
- Assemble server cabinets, manage cable routing and set up test environments.
- Process customer returns, inspections, asset tagging and admin handling.
