Job summary

Jobslim.nl in Amsterdam is seeking a Data Center Engineer to maintain reliable power for Europe's densest data center cluster around Schiphol-Rijk.

You will replace battery modules, measure voltage and conductance, and document every step, while traveling to nearby facilities in Amsterdam and occasionally to Frankfurt or Brussels. A hands-on, precise technician with UPS experience fits this role.

Qualifications

• Solid electrical engineering experience in commercial/industrial buildings.
• MBO 3 Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Knowledge of UPS and backup power systems.
• NEN 3140 VP and VCA VOL, or willingness to obtain.
• Driver's license B.
• Ability to work independently.
• English working level preferred.
• Willing to work across Benelux and beyond.

Responsibilities

• Replace battery modules and measure voltage and conductance.
• Pull and label cables and document work performed.
• Work around Amsterdam, Schiphol-Rijk, with occasional trips to Frankfurt or Brussels.
• Collaborate with an experienced engineer on installations.
• Operate with precision in UPS and backup power systems.
