Job summary

Atradius is seeking an enthusiastic Data Science intern to join the Strategic Intelligence Data Science team in the Strategy & Corporate Development department for a minimum of six months from August/September 2026 onwards, with 60% in the Amsterdam office.

You will contribute to monthly reporting, maintain and improve our SQL Server database, automate reporting with SQL and R, and analyse and visualise data to deliver fresh insights for senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Holds a BSc or MSc in a quantitative field (e.g. statistics, life/physical sciences, econometrics, data science).
• Fluent in English.
• Strong SQL skills are required. Knowledge of T-SQL and Microsoft SQL Server would be an advantage.
• Experience with Power BI dashboards is desirable.
• Knowledge of R or another programming language would be a bonus.
• Eligible to live and work in the Netherlands.
• Able to work 60% of the time in the Amsterdam office.

We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Strategic Intelligence Data Science team within the Strategy & Corporate Development department for a minimum of 6 months from August/September 2026 onwards.

Who we are

Atradius provides trade credit insurance, surety and collections services worldwide through a strategic presence in 50+ countries. Its products help protect companies throughout the world from payment risks associated with selling products and services on trade credit.

The Strategy & Corporate Development (SCD) department supports the Management Board directly through market and portfolio insights, strategic initiatives, and product and service design. The Strategic Intelligence team within SCD is responsible for providing analytical insights as part of strategy formulation and implementation.

What will you work on?

The successful candidate will be part of Strategic Intelligence’s Data Science sub-team, contributing to the team's analytical activities and supporting the delivery of data-driven insights to senior stakeholders.

Here are some examples of tasks and responsibilities:
