Job summary

Whatsnext Ai is seeking a Data Analyst to audit and clean client data, identify patterns, and measure AI solution performance. You’ll explain findings in plain language and collaborate with AI engineers and clients.

Location is Rotterdam with hybrid work. The role includes building data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and advising on data infrastructure for clients.

Qualifications

• Experience in analytics, data science, data engineering or a related field.
• Strong Python and SQL, and experience working with datasets.
• Experience with data cleaning, preprocessing and data quality.
• You can work with structured and unstructured data.
• You can evaluate solutions with metrics, test sets or other quality measures.
• Experience working directly with clients or business stakeholders.
• You can explain data insights in non-technical language.
• Good Dutch and English.
• HBO/WO working and thinking level.

Responsibilities

• Audit and structure client data: identify gaps, clean sources, define schemas.
• Work with structured and unstructured data, such as documents, tables, emails or CRM data.
• Build pipelines in Python and SQL for data cleaning, preprocessing, deduplication and enrichment.
• Analyse data, recognise patterns and explain what you find to clients in non-technical language.
• Set up evaluation sets, metrics and test methods to judge AI output.
• Analyse why a solution does or does not work well, and how to improve it.
• Work with AI engineers so data quality never becomes the limiting factor.
• Advise clients on their data infrastructure needs and capabilities.

We turn raw client data into reliable foundations for AI solutions. As Data Analyst you audit and clean client data, spot patterns, measure whether a solution works and explain in plain language what the data shows. You work with our AI engineers and close to clients.

Salary €4,000 – €6,000 gross per month, plus 8% holiday allowance

• + Experience with data modelling and pipeline tools such as dbt, Airflow or Dagster.
• + Experience with PostgreSQL, DuckDB, BigQuery, Snowflake or similar.
• + Familiarity with GCP or AWS cloud data platforms.
• + Experience preparing unstructured data for LLM or RAG applications.
• + Knowledge of GDPR, AI governance or working with sensitive business data.
• + Consultancy or agency background.
