Job summary

DEFION Security is seeking a New Business Developer in the Netherlands to drive growth across pentesting, security monitoring and incident response. You will open new doors, engage C-level and IT decision-makers, and tailor security solutions to client needs.

In a hybrid role with regular Zoetermeer office presence, you will build a strong pipeline, craft compelling proposals, and collaborate with Prevent, Detect, Respond and Governance teams. A proactive, results-driven mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience in cybersecurity; pipeline building and closing deals.
• Experience with MDR and pentesting and related security services.
• University or applied sciences degree required.

Responsibilities

• Actively bring in new clients for DEFION's portfolio: pentesting, security monitoring and incident response.
• Open doors yourself: leverage your network and take cold contacts from first call to closed deal.
• Understand risk profiles and match prospects to the right Managed Services.
• Prepare high-quality proposals and quotes tailored to each client.
• Organise workshops, lunches and masterclasses for prospects and relationships.
• Attend sector events to build new contacts and identify opportunities.
• Stay technically curious to translate complex topics for non-technical stakeholders.
