Job summary

Europol is seeking a Senior Agent – Cybersecurity Awareness to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity awareness initiatives. The role focuses on designing, coordinating and delivering risk-based awareness programs for staff and stakeholders, with emphasis on culture, knowledge, and secure behaviours.

The post is based in The Hague, Netherlands, within the Information Security Team, Governance Directorate.

Qualifications

Experience in planning, designing, developing and implementing cybersecurity awareness, education or security training programmes and/or campaigns.
Experience in developing cybersecurity awareness content and training materials for diverse audiences, using different formats.
Experience in planning and executing social engineering awareness exercises (e.g. phishing simulations).
Experience working in an international work environment.
Experience with e-learning platforms or learning management systems (LMS).
Knowledge of cybersecurity principles, threats and attack vectors; including phishing, social engineering and malware.

Responsibilities

Develop, maintain and improve Europol’s cybersecurity awareness and training programme.
Design, coordinate and deliver targeted cybersecurity awareness campaigns and training activities.
Develop and maintain training materials across formats.
Plan and execute phishing simulations and analyse results.
Collaborate with stakeholders to integrate awareness into onboarding and staff development.
Monitor and report on effectiveness using KPIs and metrics.
Support development of information security policies and guidance.
