Job description
As a Customer Support Specialist you’ll be the trusted point of contact for entrepreneurs, freelancers and bookkeepers, ensuring a smooth, productive and delightful experience on the Ageras platform. You will handle inquiries via email, chat and phone, support onboarding, bookkeeping needs and help improve the knowledge base.
Responsibilities
- Provide support via email, chat and phone to entrepreneurs, bookkeepers and small businesses, maintaining a thoughtful, personal touch.
- Assist with income tax preparation and banking/accounting queries.
- Support customer onboarding and help users update financial information and navigate bookkeeping tasks.
- Turn negative customer experiences into positive outcomes through proactive outreach and problem solving.
- Write and maintain Help Center content and contribute to an evolving knowledge base.
- Manage customer reviews across platforms and gather insights for product improvement.
- Prioritize incoming requests, organise communication channels and coordinate with internal teams to improve service efficiency.
- Investigate banking and accounting cases, identify solutions, escalates technical issues or bug reports and provide accurate guidance to customers.
Qualifications
- 2+ years in a customer‑facing role (support, sales, etc.), ideally in a SaaS or tech‑driven environment.
- Native Dutch speaker; comfortable communicating in English.
- Customer‑focused, empathetic, solution‑oriented and service‑driven.
- Team‑player who collaborates easily and welcomes feedback.
- Familiar with tools such as Slack, Notion, Intercom.
- Reliable, organised, stays composed under pressure.
- Proactive, eager to learn and grow, and enjoys improving processes and turning feedback into action.
