Job summary

Air Liquide in Eindhoven seeks a Facility Manager for all CI and Services operations. You will manage PMs, technicians, and contractors to ensure safe, compliant, and reliable performances from opportunity to handover.

Qualifications

• Academic or professional Master or bachelor in Electromechanics, Chemical or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of engineering, project methodologies and maintenance activities.
• Technical understanding of gas production processes.
• Promoting and supporting actions towards Safety, Health and environment protection.
• Encourages questioning of established ideas and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Team Management & Support: Assist project leaders in offer preparation, development, implementation, and customer visits; allocate resources for safe execution.
• Processes & conformity: Ensure compliance with procedures, documentation, IMS, KPIs, and regulatory standards; manage budgets and stakeholder communications.
• Training & competences: Ensure training and competency development, and global training requirements are systematically managed.
• Safety & quality: Perform internal & external audits of contractors and suppliers with stakeholders; keep procedures and tools up to date.
• Performance & Objectives: Analyze indicators, ensure on-site reliability and regional best practices.
• Continuous Improvement: Participate in working groups, particularly in EIM area.

Job description

Act as Facility Manager for all CI in perimeter. Ensure safe, compliant, and reliable CI & Services operations. Manage EIM CI&S PMs, technicians (Bulk/On Site), and team leader. Manage contractors for legal, safety, IMS, and ISO compliance. Monitor standard/non-complex customer projects from opportunity to handover (timing, budget, scope). Interface with central/local stakeholders (Engineering, Asset, Sales). Secure qualified internal/external resources for projects and maintenance. Represent company to customers and authorities. Optimize efficiency, consistency, cost allocation, and customer satisfaction. Enforce environmental laws and ISO standards with a proactive mindset. How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?

Team Management & Support

Supporting local project leaders in technical offer preparation, project development, implementation, and customer visits, while ensuring compliance with AL standards and execution approvals. Assisting field services technicians in daily tasks and ensuring proper resources are allocated to execute projects safely.

Processes & conformity

Ensure full compliance with standard project and maintenance procedures, documentation requirements, IMS, KPIs, and regulatory standards. Manage crisis situations, resource allocation, subcontracting policies, maintenance budgets, and stakeholder communications to ensure safe, high-quality operations.

Training & competenties

Ensure employees are properly trained, qualified, and that their competency development and global training requirements are systematically managed.

Safety & quality

Performing and supporting internal & external audits of contractors & suppliers in collaboration with the adequate stakeholder such as e.g. procurement, central teams. Ensuring that procedures and tools are up to date and well known within the team.

Performance & Objectives

Analyze operational indicators, ensure continuous on-site reliability and coverage, set objectives, and share regional best practices.

Continuous Improvement

Participation in working groups for further development, particularly in the area of EIM.
