Job summary

An innovative healthcare technology firm is seeking an experienced Chief Technology Officer to lead the technical strategy of a global healthcare data platform. The role involves modernizing architecture, integrating AI capabilities, and overseeing a high-performing engineering team. Applicants should have deep expertise in healthcare data, cloud-native engineering, and strong strategic judgment. This position offers a full-time contract with long-term incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, including 25+ days holiday.

Qualifications

• Proven CTO or senior technology leadership experience in Healthcare SaaS.
• Expertise in XDS/XCA, FHIR, CDR/openEHR/OMOP.
• Experience delivering globally compliant health platforms.
• Mastery of cloud-native engineering and modern observability tools.
• Ability to mentor and represent the organization externally.

Responsibilities

• Define and execute a multi-year technical strategy.
• Lead and mentor engineering teams across multiple locations.
• Drive the evolution of the global healthcare data platform.
• Ensure scalability, security, and reliability in architecture.
• Champion best data security and regulatory compliance practices.
