Clear is seeking an experienced CSA Engineer to lead on-site civil, structural, and architectural works for hyperscale data centres in Amsterdam, NL. You will own foundations, steel framing, finishes, waterproofing, and site activities, interfacing with MEP and commissioning teams to ensure quality and schedule adherence.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in CSA construction on major projects, strong QA/testing experience, and familiarity with BIM, AutoCAD, and Jira/Confluence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field.
• 5+ years’ hands-on experience in civil, structural, and architectural engineering on major construction or data centre projects.
• Operational expertise in structural steelwork, reinforced concrete, building envelopes, and interior finishes.
• Knowledge of civil engineering standards, geotechnical principles, and MEP coordination workflows.
• Experience supervising CSA subcontractors and managing quality testing.
• Understanding of raised flooring systems, acoustic attenuation, and high-security architectural hardening for data centres.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• EU passport holder and available for on-site rotation in Amsterdam, NL.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and inspect all CSA construction activities for hyperscale data centre projects.
• Monitor concrete works, reinforcement placement, foundations, and steel erection.
• Supervise architectural fit-outs including raised flooring, acoustic walls, and waterproofing.
• Ensure compliance with architectural drawings, specs, local regulations, and safety codes.
• Conduct QA inspections, concrete cube testing, material checks, and alignments.
• Collaborate with MEP engineers, commissioning managers, and client reps.
• Resolve installation clashes and coordinate complex civil/structural issues in real time.
• Maintain detailed CSA documentation, reports, submittals, and progress logs.
