About us
LiveTicketGroup runs a portfolio of international sports-ticketing marketplaces, including LiveFootballTickets, LiveRugbyTickets and Fanatix. We’re especially strong in the UK and the US, and we’re expanding into new categories such as Formula 1. LiveFootballTickets is our largest brand. It helps football fans across 12 markets get tickets for the matches they care about, from the Premier League to the Champions League final. Buying tickets from a resale platform takes trust. Our job is to make every step from the fixture page to the confirmation email clear, reliable and fast.
We’re building more expertise in-house, and there’s plenty of room to improve, test and build. Our culture is entrepreneurial, direct and informal: little hierarchy, open feedback, and the freedom to take responsibility and bring your own ideas.
The role
You’ll own conversion across the LiveFootballTickets funnel: search, event pages, seat selection and checkout. You’ll set up our customer research, turn data into hypotheses, run rigorous experiments, and turn the results into product decisions. It’s a hands‑on role with plenty of room to shape what we test and how. You’ll report to the Product Manager and work closely with our Marketing team (SEO and Performance) and our developers. You’ll learn our product and testing history alongside the Product Manager, and grow into full ownership of the programme. As traffic grows, the programme may extend to our other brands.
What you’ll do
- Understand the funnel. Analyse how customers move through the site, find where and why conversion changes, and turn that into clear opportunities.
- Set up customer research. Build a steady flow of qualitative input: surveys, exit‑intent, session recordings and user feedback across our markets.
- Own the experimentation roadmap and pipeline. Prioritise a backlog of hypotheses and own every test end to end: what gets built, when it goes live, and whether it’s implemented or iterated on. You’ll start alongside our Product Manager and grow into working directly with development.
- Design and run A/B tests on key journeys (search, event page, seat and category selection, checkout, payment), with proper sample‑size planning and pre‑registered success metrics.
- Evaluate results rigorously. Look at CVR, RPU and AOV by device and market, and dig into the behavioural change behind the numbers.
- Build reliable measurement. Make sure on‑site and experiment tracking (GA4 / GTM, Convert) and reporting (Looker Studio / BigQuery) stay accurate and consistent, alongside Marketing, who own campaign attribution. Automate wherever you can.
- Share what we learn. Keep a learning repository and present insights to product, marketing and management in plain language.
What you bring
- 3–5 years of hands‑on CRO or experimentation experience, ideally in e‑commerce or ticketing.
- Experience owning A/B tests end to end on a live e‑commerce site: from hypothesis and test design to analysis and the final call. You’ve helped set up or improve a testing process along the way.
- A solid grasp of test statistics: sample size and MDE, SRM checks and the pitfalls of peeking. You’re comfortable with frequentist and/or Bayesian evaluation, and can explain why a test is or isn’t conclusive.
- Experience with an experimentation platform (e.g. Convert, Optimizely, VWO) and with GA4 / GTM.
- SQL skills (BigQuery preferred), so you can pull and validate data yourself.
- Strong UX and behavioural instincts: you can read a checkout and spot where doubt creeps in.
- An ownership mindset: you research, dig deep and ask the right questions. You find the data, tools and people you need, and you hack your way to a workflow that’s as automated as possible.
- Comfortable in a direct environment where people challenge each other and give open feedback.
- Clear communication in English; Dutch or another market language is a plus.
- Bonus: front‑end basics (HTML/CSS/JS) for building test variants, and of course a love of football.
