Job summary

Allego B.V. in Arnhem is seeking a Creative Designer to join the Marketing team.

You will shape how customers experience the Allego brand across Europe, delivering visuals for campaigns, social content, website visuals, CRM communications, app creatives and event materials. You will combine strong visual design skills with a passion for storytelling, translating ideas into compelling content across channels while staying at the forefront of design tools and trends.

Qualifications

• 4-8 years of experience in graphic/digital design.
• Strong portfolio across channels.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
• Experience designing for digital campaigns and marketing materials.
• Excellent typography and brand storytelling.
• Ability to manage projects end-to-end.
• Experience with external agencies and production partners.
• Fluency in English.

As we continue to grow, we're looking for a Creative Designer to join our Marketing team in Arnhem. In this role, you'll help shape how customers experience the Allego brand across Europe. From digital campaigns and social media content to website visuals, CRM communications, app creatives and event materials, you'll create impactful visual experiences that strengthen our brand and support business growth.

We're looking for a talented designer with a strong eye for detail, a passion for storytelling and the ability to translate ideas into compelling visual content across multiple channels. You'll combine creativity with modern design tools and technologies to deliver high-quality work efficiently and consistently.

About the role

This role combines creativity, execution and collaboration. You'll create high-quality designs across a wide range of channels while helping to continuously improve how we work as a creative team. We're looking for someone with a strong sense of style, a passion for great design and a curiosity for new tools, technologies and ways of working.

What you’ll be doing

• Create impactful visual content
  Develop engaging creative assets for social media, campaigns, website, events, digital advertising, sales materials, charger screens, POS materials, signage and other customer touchpoints.

• Bring the Allego brand to life
  Act as a guardian of the Allego brand and translate the brand guidelines you own into visual content that is consistent across all customer touchpoints and European markets.

• Experiment and optimize
  Develop multiple creative variations for campaigns and performance marketing activities, using data and insights to improve results.

• Create motion and video content
  Support the production of short-form video, animation and visual storytelling content for digital channels.

• Create professional presentations
  Create professional presentations and visual materials for leadership, commercial and corporate communications.

• Collaborate across teams
  Work closely with Marketing, Product, Digital and Sales teams to translate business objectives and customer needs into effective creative solutions.

• Stay ahead of industry developments
  Monitor emerging trends in design, content creation, digital marketing and AI, bringing new ideas and capabilities into the organization.

Who we’re looking for

You're a highly creative and versatile designer who combines strong visual design skills with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement. You enjoy turning ideas into impactful creative assets and feel equally comfortable working on campaign concepts, social content, digital experiences, presentations, event materials and brand development.

You have a strong eye for design, understand what makes creative work effective and know how to translate a brand into compelling visual storytelling across different channels and audiences. You are hands-on, proactive and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift quickly.

Ideally, you bring:

• 4-8 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, brand design or creative production.

• A strong portfolio showcasing high-quality creative work across multiple channels and formats.

• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and ideally After Effects) and Figma.

• Strong understanding of branding, typography, visual hierarchy, layout design and storytelling.

• Experience designing for digital campaigns, social media, websites, CRM communications, presentations, events and marketing materials.

• The ability to manage projects from concept development through final production and delivery.

• Experience working with external agencies, freelancers and production partners.

• An understanding of how design contributes to brand perception, customer engagement and marketing performance.

• Fluency in English.
