Job summary
Kalmar Inc. in Rotterdam seeks a Technical Supervisor Service Projects to lead and coordinate crane service projects. You will guide 5–10 technicians, align with Engineering, Sales, and Purchasing, and ensure on-site safety and timely project delivery.
You will build strong client relationships, help shape competitive quotes, and support global operations with ERP and Google Workspace tools. A proactive, safety-driven mindset is essential.
Qualifications
- Deep knowledge in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering with a related technical field.
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar operational role with leadership responsibilities.
- Fluent Dutch and English; conversational German is a plus to connect with our network.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Google Workspace for documentation and workflows.
Responsibilities
- Provide empathetic team leadership to 5–10 service/maintenance technicians and allocate resources across projects.
- Prepare detailed project plans in collaboration with Engineering, Sales and Purchasing.
- Lead safe on-site operations with TRA and safety plans and ensure compliance.
- Act as main client contact, monitor progress, manage schedules, and conduct handovers.
- Collaborate with Sales to develop accurate, competitive quotes for clients.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, manage site access, and ensure timely delivery of materials.
