Job summary
Kalmar Netherlands is seeking a Technical Supervisor Service Projects in Rotterdam to lead a team of service and maintenance technicians, coordinate with engineering, sales, and purchasing, and ensure safe, timely delivery of crane projects. You will act as the main client contact, manage schedules, and support sales with technical quotes.
Preferred candidates have 5+ years in a similar role, a technical engineering background, Dutch and English fluency, and VCA certification.
Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in a similar operational role.
- Proven leadership of service/maintenance teams.
- Fluent Dutch and English; German is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Lead a team of 5–10 service and maintenance technicians on crane projects.
- Coordinate with Engineering, Sales and Purchasing to plan schedules and resources.
- Prepare Time-Risk Analyses (TRA) and safety plans and ensure on-site safety.
- Be the primary client contact and manage project progress and handover.
- Support sales with technically accurate quotes for clients.
- Coordinate with subcontractors and manage access, equipment and materials.
