Job summary

Applebee's Neighborhood Grill + Bar is seeking a bartender to mix and serve drinks and food in a courteous, timely manner. You will follow Applebee’s recipes and contribute to a welcoming guest experience.

The role requires 2+ years bar experience, knowledge of spirits, wine and cocktails, and the ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends. Applicants must be 21+ and able to stand for extended periods while maintaining a clean and safe workspace.

Qualifications

• 2+ years bartending or similar experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years old.
• Strong knowledge of spirits, wine and cocktails.
• Ability to stand for 4 hours, bend, stoop and lift up to 20 pounds.
• Flexible to work evenings and weekends.
• Excellent customer service skills and the ability to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Confident, outgoing demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional service to guests by greeting, taking orders, and answering questions.
• Adhere to all local and national liquor laws.
• Mix and serve drinks following Applebee’s recipes.
• Greet guests, take orders, and process payments via QR code or POS.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment and complete opening/closing side work.
• Restock products and prepare garnishes at shift start and end.
