Bayards Aluminium Constructions Group in Nieuw-Lekkerland seeks a Cost Proposal Engineer to join our tendering team. You ensure proposals are technically sound, commercially attractive, and aligned with client needs and Bayards interests, coordinating with Engineering, Procurement and Sales.

The role requires an HBO/Bachelor’s degree and proven cost estimation or tendering experience in technical projects, with strong analytical, communication, and cost-awareness skills in Dutch and English.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
• Experience in cost calculation or tendering in a technical/project-based environment.
• Strong analytical skills, sense of responsibility, and excellent communication abilities.
• A proactive attitude with attention to detail and cost awareness.

Responsibilities

• Gather project information to prepare quotations.
• Determine the most suitable construction method in consultation with Engineering.
• Request prices and quotations from Procurement.
• Calculate cost prices and prepare complete proposal packages.
• Coordinate with Sales and maintain client contact when needed.
• Maintain standard documentation, templates, and calculation systems.
• Identify opportunities to optimise the proposal process.
