Job summary

Flowserve is seeking a Cost Accountant Financial Control to support the monthly closing and reporting for our Netherlands/Belgian units, based in Etten-Leur with a team of five. You will liaise with the Dallas Head Office and act as the banking intermediary for letters of credit, while analyzing costs, inventories and margins to inform forecasts.

You should hold a finance bachelor, 1–3 years in accounting, with US GAAP knowledge preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level in Finance with 1-3 years relevant experience.
• Strong accounting knowledge.
• Knowledge of US GAAP preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship building skills.
• Systems knowledge: Oracle, BPC, SAP will be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Support the execution of the monthly closing and reporting procedures for the assigned units.
• Act as intermediary for the business with banks for Letters of Credit.
• Perform product and cost analyses and inventory analyses for business processes.
• Perform margin reporting and analysis and assist with forecasts.
• Work with Operations to optimize business processes.
