Job summary

Oxford Global Resources in Beverwijk, The Netherlands, seeks a Formulation Specialist to develop and test new cosmetic products using natural ingredients, with a strong sustainability focus and no solvents.

You will lead R&D for dry formulations, conduct stability and safety lab tests, ensure compliance with cosmetic regulations, and collaborate with production, sales, marketing and suppliers to deliver new launches, in a 32-40 hour work week.

Qualifications

• At least three years of experience in cosmetic product development.
• Experience with dry formulation.
• Knowledge of cosmetic regulatory guidelines.
• Strong communicator and problem solver.
• Dutch is a plus, English speaking is sufficient.
• You have an unlimited right to work in The Netherlands, no visa sponsorship possible.

Job description

You work in a small company and have a broad set of responsibilities. The main focus is of course the R&D for new products based on market trends and customer requests. These are dry formulations of a wide range of cosmetic products (sticks, balms, deodorants, etc). After a new product has been developed, you do analytical testing for quality, stability, and safety. Next to the work on the lab, you collaborate with colleagues from production for new product launches, with sales for client requests, marketing for new product releases and with suppliers to get your materials delivered. We are looking for someone with at least three years of experience in cosmetic product development with a focus on dry formulations. Speaking Dutch is a plus, but not required.
