Job Title: Corporate Planning (Data Collection and Reporting-Japan)

Job Summary:

Native Japanese language and high-level writing skills required.
We are seeking a detail-oriented Corporate Planning professional to join our team in Japan. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collecting relevant data, assisting in market analysis, and preparing detailed reports that support strategic decision-making. The role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a solid understanding of the corporate planning process.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Data Collection and Analysis:
    • Gather relevant data from internal departments (sales, operations, finance, etc.) to support corporate planning initiatives.
    • Collect external market data, industry trends, and competitor information relevant to corporate strategy and business performance.
    • Organize and maintain databases to ensure data is accessible and up to date for reporting.
    • Assist in analyzing data to identify trends, insights, and areas for improvement.
  2. Reporting:
    • Prepare and compile regular reports on business performance, market conditions, and strategic progress.
    • Assist in creating monthly, quarterly, and annual corporate performance reports for senior management in Europe and HQ Japan.
    • Monitor KPIs and ensure data accuracy in reports.
    • Support the preparation of business summaries and presentations for meetings with top management and stakeholders.
  3. Collaboration:
    • Work closely with the Corporate Planning team and other departments to ensure accurate data collection and report creation.
    • Participate in planning meetings, providing updates and insights on performance trends and improvement areas.
  4. Documentation and Record-Keeping:
    • Maintain organized records of data and reports for easy reference.
    • Ensure data integrity through cross-checking and audits.
  5. Ad-Hoc Support:
    • Organize YTE corporate events.
    • Assist with ad-hoc reporting requests or projects, providing timely and accurate information.

Qualifications:

  • At least 3 years of experience in corporate planning, data analysis, or business intelligence (preferred).

Skills:

  • Proficiency in data collection, analysis, and reporting.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and data analysis tools.
  • Attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • Ability to create clear reports and presentations.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of business trends and corporate planning.
  • Proficiency in Japanese (written and spoken) and understanding of the local business environment (preferred).
