Job summary

Wlgroup in Brunssum, Netherlands, seeks an hands-on infrastructure engineer responsible for configuring, integrating and validating core services for deployable communications kits, and maintaining them in operation.

You will run the VMware estate (vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, NSX) and Veeam backup, administer Microsoft core (AD, Exchange, DNS, GPO), handle incidents, keep docs up to date, and report on service performance.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in a comparable infrastructure role (A+ or equivalent).
• Deep VMware vSphere experience: ESXi, vSAN, NSX, CLI scripting.
• Strong Microsoft server administration: Windows Server, Exchange, AD, DNS, GPO.

Responsibilities

• Build, configure and validate core services and prepare handover.
• Manage VMware estate day-to-day: vSphere, ESXi, vSAN, NSX, updates.
• Administer Microsoft core: AD, Exchange, DNS, GPO, software deployment.
• Handle third-line incidents and changes with root-cause analysis.
• Maintain accurate documentation and configuration records.
• Report monthly on service performance against agreed metrics.
