Job summary

NH Hotels & Resorts in Maastricht, NL, seeks a Cook to plan, prepare and cook buffets and à la carte menus for guests, ensuring high quality and guest satisfaction. You will work independently or in a team, plan daily activities, and order ingredients while managing stock replenishment.

Health and safety rules are observed, with a focus on a clean, efficient workstation. English language skills are essential; Dutch language is an advantage.

Qualifications

• Good command of English; Dutch language skills are an advantage.
• Prior experience in a restaurant or hotel environment is desirable.
• Ability to stay calm under pressure and work well in a team.

As a Cook, you will be responsible for planning, preparing and cooking buffets and à la carte menus as well as looking after and advising guests at the buffet and in the à la carte business.

As a Cook you work independently or in a team and you are responsible for the preparation of dishes according to hotel recipes or according to your own recipes. In addition, you are responsible for planning your daily activities and ordering ingredients and other stock replenishments. You follow the health & safety regulations and you are responsible for cleaning your own workstation. Are you stress resilient, and do you have relevant work experience?
