Ubiqu is a fast-growing cybersecurity company in Delft seeking a Controller to lead the finance function and drive growth, funding, and scaling.

You will own budgeting, monthly close, reporting, and cash-flow planning, delivering insights to the CEO and management for strategic decisions. You will also support pricing, business cases, and funding rounds while ensuring compliance and strong controls.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in finance (Big4, scale-up, or similar).
• Strong in accounting and financial analysis.
• Hands-on, pragmatic, comfortable in a scale-up environment.
• Ambition to grow into a senior finance leadership role.

Responsibilities

• Run the full finance function day to day, bookkeeping, monthly close, reporting and internal controls.
• Own budgeting, forecasting process and cash-flow planning, keep runway visibility at all times.
• Produce monthly management reporting and turn numbers into actionable insights for CEO and management.
• Act as financial sparring partner to leadership, supporting commercial decisions, pricing and business cases.
• Manage relationships with the accountant, auditors, tax advisors and banks.
• Support funding rounds and investor processes, data rooms, financial models and due-diligence requests.
• Safeguard compliance: VAT, payroll, statutory filings and grant/subsidy administration (e.g. WBSO).
• Strengthen finance processes, tooling and controls as the company scales.

Ubiqu builds the certified infrastructure behind digital identity wallets and trust services, powered by its proprietary Remote Secure Element technology. We’re now looking for a Controller to join our Team and help drive the next phase of growth, funding, and scaling.

Key responsibilities:
