Job vacancy: Finance Manager at Ubiqu

Ubiqu builds the certified infrastructure behind digital identity wallets and trust services — powered by its proprietary Remote Secure Element technology. Trusted by organisations including KPN, Rijksoverheid and Atos, Ubiqu is at the forefront of Europe’s rapidly evolving digital identity landscape.

We’re now looking for a Finance Manager to join our Team and help drive the next phase of growth, funding, and scaling.

What’s the role?

• Own the full finance function (reporting, control, cash, compliance)
• Act as sparring partner to the CEO and Management
• Drive budgeting, forecasting, and performance insights
• Support funding rounds and investor processes
• Manage cash runway and financial strategy

Key responsibilities:

• Run the full finance function day to day — bookkeeping, monthly close, reporting and internal controls.
• Own budgeting, forecasting and cash‑flow planning, and keep a clear view of runway at all times.
• Produce monthly management reporting and turn the numbers into insights the CEO and management team can act on.
• Act as financial sparring partner to leadership, supporting commercial decisions, pricing and business cases.
• Manage relationships with the accountant, auditors, tax advisors and banks.
• Support funding rounds and investor processes — data rooms, financial models and due‑diligence requests.
• Safeguard compliance: VAT, payroll, statutory filings and grant/subsidy administration (e.g. WBSO).
• Strengthen finance processes, tooling and controls as the company scales.

Key requirements:

• 4–8 years in finance (Big4, scale‑up, or similar)
• Strong in accounting + financial analysis
• Hands‑on, pragmatic, and comfortable in a scale‑up
• Ambition to grow into a senior finance leadership role
