Job summary

NCIM in the Netherlands is seeking a Control Systems Engineer to design, develop, test and commission control software for advanced equipment used in offshore and renewable energy projects. You will work with PLCs, SCADA and software development to meet customer specifications and ensure high engineering quality.

You'll join an international engineering team, travel internationally as needed, and contribute from design through commissioning to help drive the energy transition in a hands-on,

Qualifications

Knowledge of or experience with PLCs and SCADA.
Knowledge of software development or software design.
Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
A proactive, practical and team-oriented mindset.
A good command of English, both written and spoken.
Willingness to travel internationally.
An EU passport or a valid work permit for the Netherlands.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, test and commission control software for advanced equipment.
Design complex control systems based on customer specifications.
Select suitable hardware in collaboration with engineers from other disciplines.
Contribute to control system architectures and engineering standards.
Support service teams in troubleshooting technical issues at customer sites.
Review colleagues' work and ensure high engineering quality.
