Overview
Medpace Rotterdam, South Holland, Netherlands. Our Site Contracts Team is seeking a full-time Contract Specialist to join our Sites Contracts Team in Rotterdam. This role plays a key part in study start-up and clinical trial management processes, managing the life cycle of each contract from preparation to negotiation and finalization.

Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and finalizing Clinical Site Agreements or other site-specific legal agreements required for a clinical study.
- Act as first-line subject matter expert for CSA strategy, timelines and expectations for all CSA execution elements and challenges in your country.
- Negotiate within client-approved contract and budget templates and negotiation parameters.
- Build strong site/external stakeholder relationships to accelerate Site contract negotiations.
- Identify and assess legal, financial, and operational risks and escalate to the appropriate Contract Lead/Contract Manager or other internal stakeholders.
- Provide recommendations and alternative resolutions throughout negotiations using established escalation channels.
- Coordinate with internal functional departments to ensure site startup activities are aligned with contractual processes and mutually agreed timelines.
- Keep up to date with applicable local regulations impacting clinical trial contracts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor\'s degree; preferably in Law or Sciences.
- At least 1 year of relevant work experience; preferred but not required.
- Prior contract negotiation experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to work within a team environment and independently.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong Dutch and English written and spoken communication skills.
