Job summary

Medpace is seeking a Clinical Research Associate in the Netherlands to support monitoring visits and site management for pharmaceutical and medical device studies. Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Health or Life Science related field
  • 1+ year of clinical research experience with direct patient-facing responsibility
  • Willing to travel approximately 60-70% nationally
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office
  • Fluent in Dutch and English
  • Strong communication and presentation skills
  • Valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

  • Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits for research sites in compliance with the approved protocol
  • Communicate with site staff including coordinators and investigators
  • Verify investigator qualifications, training, resources, facilities, staff
  • Verify data entry and maintain good documentation practices per SOPs, GCP and regulatory requirements
  • Ensure enrollment of eligible subjects only
  • Perform regulatory document review
  • Manage device/product accountability and inventory
  • Review adverse events and reporting accuracy
  • Assess site recruitment and retention, provide improvement suggestions
  • Complete monitoring reports and follow-up letters with findings and actions
  • Maintain collaboration with international Medpace cross-functional teams

Responsibilities
  • Conduct qualification, initiation, monitoring, and closeout visits for research sites in compliance with the approved protocol;
  • Communication with the medical site staff including coordinators, clinical research physicians and their site staff;
  • Verifying adequate investigator qualifications, training and resources, including facilities, laboratories, equipment, and staff;
  • Medical record and research source documentation verification against case report form data, including informing the site staff of any entry errors, ensuring good documentation practices are being adhered to and communicating protocol deviations appropriately per SOPs, GCP and applicable regulatory requirements;
  • Verification that the investigator is enrolling only eligible subjects;
  • Regulatory document review;
  • Medical device and/or investigational product/drug accountability and inventory;
  • Verification and review of adverse events, serious adverse events, concomitant medications and corresponding illnesses to confirm accurate data reporting in accordance with the protocol;
  • Assessing the clinical research site’s patient recruitment and retention success and offering suggestions for improvement; and
  • Completion of monitoring reports and follow-up letters, which includes providing summaries of the significant findings, deviations, deficiencies, and recommended actions to secure compliance
  • Maintain close collaboration, interaction, and effective working relationships with international Medpace internal cross-functional teams
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelor of Science in Health or Life Science related field
  • 1+ year of clinical research experience with direct patient-facing responsibility as a Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Study Coordinator or similar;
  • Willing to travel approximately 60-70% nationally;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft® Office;
  • Fluent in Dutch and English is a must;
  • Strong communication and presentation skills; and
  • Valid driver’s license
