Job summary

XIVER, a High Tech Campus-based MEMS specialist, seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to strengthen its manufacturing organization and industrialize processes. You will translate product opportunities into scalable manufacturing solutions, driving cost reductions and higher throughput.

Responsibilities include defining maturity gates, setting up tech transfer, and leading programs that improve yield, cycle time, and reliability.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor or Master level of working and thinking, preferably with a technical background.
  • Experience in Semiconductor, MEMS, Photonics or High-Tech Manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of experience in production, engineering or improvement environments.
  • Experience driving substantial manufacturing cost reductions.
  • Proven experience with industrialization of new processes or products.
  • Strong project and program management skills in a stakeholder-rich environment.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement an industrialization strategy for the fab.
  • Define maturity gates for processes and products together with PMO.
  • Set up methods for technology transfer from development to operations.
  • Improve process stability, reproducibility and standard ways of working.
  • Identify and realize high-impact product and process improvement opportunities that significantly improve manufacturing cost, yield and throughput.
  • Lead industrialization programs that translate product and technology requirements into scalable, robust and cost-effective manufacturing solutions.
  • Develop KPI frameworks for yield, cycle time, OEE, WIP and delivery reliability.
  • Lead improvement and industrialization projects based on business impact.
  • Work closely with Operations, Engineering, Quality, Sales and PMO.
  • Align improvement programs with customer demand and internal priorities.
  • Coach teams in Lean, problem solving and data-driven decision-making.
  • Drive a culture of ownership, standardization and continuous improvement.

Job description

  • Location: Eindhoven, The Netherlands, High Tech Campus.
As Continuous Improvement Manager, you play a key role in building the future of XIVER, strengthening our manufacturing organization and driving industrialization.

We are looking for a builder who can industrialize our MEMS foundry, translate product and process opportunities into scalable manufacturing solutions, and significantly improve cost, yield and operational performance.

The challenge

Your focus is on identifying and realizing major improvement opportunities within products and manufacturing processes. You create and implement structural changes that make our factory more scalable, robust and cost-effective, enabling technologies and customer programs to move through the fab faster, more predictably and at lower cost.

Your profile

Must-have

  • Bachelor or Master level of working and thinking, preferably with a technical background.
  • Experience in Semiconductor, MEMS, Photonics or High-Tech Manufacturing.
  • 10+ years of experience in production, engineering or improvement environments.
  • Experience driving substantial manufacturing cost reductions.

Nice to have

  • Experience within semiconductor fabs or high-mix low-volume production.
  • Knowledge of SPC, FMEA, APQP, DOE and capability management.
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, Operational Excellence or scale-up programs.
  • Ability to translate technical complexity into practical standards and routines.
  • You bring structure to complex technical environments.
  • You use data to make decisions and create focus.
  • You realize change through influence, collaboration and ownership.
  • You combine long-term thinking with a pragmatic, no-nonsense approach and no 9-to-5 mentality.
