Job summary

SIRE LIFE SCIENCES seeks a Continuous Improvement Manager to lead a global transformation focused on efficiency and cost optimisation across maintenance, facilities, and site services. You will partner with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities, apply Lean/Six Sigma, and deliver measurable value in an international manufacturing network.

Qualifications

  • Minimum five years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing-operations, strategic sourcing, or continuous improvement within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries.
  • Experience managing complex projects and improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and coordinate continuous improvement initiatives across maintenance, repair and operations, plant maintenance services, and integrated facilities management categories
  • Support project planning, execution, governance, and performance tracking activities
  • Prepare regular project status reports, milestone updates, and financial performance summaries
  • Coordinate weekly, monthly, and quarterly portfolio review meetings with stakeholders and project owners
  • Conduct analyses to identify opportunities for operational optimisation and productivity improvements
  • Escalate risks and provide recommendations to leadership when required
  • Collaborate with category leaders, site teams, procurement professionals, and business stakeholders across multiple regions
  • Build strong relationships to ensure alignment on project objectives and successful implementation of initiatives
  • Facilitate effective communication between project teams and executive leadership
  • Identify opportunities to simplify processes, eliminate waste, and improve operational efficiency
  • Support the development and execution of value generating strategies across site services categories
  • Apply Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to drive performance improvements
  • Lead or participate in continuous improvement workshops and Kaizen activities
  • Support cost reduction, standardisation, demand optimisation, and efficiency improvement programmes
  • Lead and influence project teams without direct people management responsibility
  • Promote a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement across the organisation

About the Role

Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Science, Business, or a related field
  • Minimum five years of experience in procurement, supply chain, manufacturing - operations, strategic sourcing, or continuous improvement within pharmaceutical, healthcare, or related industries
  • Experience managing complex projects and improvement initiatives in manufacturing environments
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and decision making skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Proven ability to work effectively across diverse functions and international teams
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong leadership and influencing skills
