Job summary

GXO Logistics is seeking a Continuous Improvement Engineer in the Breda region (Rijsbergen) to drive operational excellence within a dynamic, international 3PL environment. You will lead process improvements, oversee warehouse and assembly projects, and collaborate across functions to implement automation and WMS solutions.

Strong analytics, stakeholder management, and AutoCAD expertise are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics Engineering or a related field is required.
• Proven project management experience within a logistics environment is required.
• Experience in assembly or production environments is preferred.
• Strong presentation and stakeholder management skills are essential.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities; data analysis experience is a must.
• Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing process improvements.
• Mindset focused on continuous improvement and innovation.
• Experience with AutoCAD and WMS technologies is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and reduce costs.
• Lead logistics engineering projects from concept through completion within timelines and budgets.
• Support and optimise onsite assembly processes for customers.
• Analyse operational processes, identify bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions.
• Prepare and deliver presentations to communicate project updates, findings, and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement new technologies and automation solutions.
• Utilize AutoCAD for warehouse design and layout planning where applicable.
• Monitor and analyse KPIs to measure project success.
• Track and report on continuous improvement initiatives.
• Promote a culture of innovation and continuous improvement across the operation.
