Job summary

Johnson & Johnson Innovative Medicine in Leiden is seeking a contamination control specialist to support the CCP program and collaborate with Operations, the CoE, and Quality. You will lead contamination investigations, perform root cause analysis and CAPA, and translate microbiological risk into practical shop-floor controls to strengthen environmental monitoring and sterilization strategies.

Qualifications

BSc in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Biology or related field; MSc preferred.
GMP-regulated manufacturing experience in microbiology or aseptic operations.
Ability to translate GMP guidance into practical shop-floor controls.
Strong English communication; Dutch preferred.

Responsibilities

Support CCP in Operations and drive improvements.
Lead contamination investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA.
Perform contamination impact assessments for change controls and provide Operations recommendations.
Drive root cause identification and CAPA definition, implementation follow-up and closure.
Validate investigation outcomes with scientific justification.
Ensure effectiveness checks prevent recurrence and strengthen contamination control.
