Job summary

Sopra Steria in the Netherlands is seeking a Supply Chain Optimization Consultant to drive innovations across customer operations within the OptimAI team based in Belgium and the Netherlands. You will harness advanced optimization and AI tools to deliver measurable value for clients.

The role requires a strong background in econometrics or related fields, 5+ years of experience, and fluent English and Dutch.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in econometrics, applied economics, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil or commercial engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a similar position.
• Fluent in English and Dutch; strong communication and analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to supply chain optimization initiatives using advanced optimization and AI tools.
• Build and nurture relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
• Develop demonstration scenarios and proof of concepts to show value of tools.
• Contribute to the OptimAI community and support team growth.
• Work with multiple supply chain software solutions in a team environment.
• Identify new opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

As part of theOptimAITeam, you will:

• Contribute to supply chain optimization initiatives using advancedoptimization andAI tools and innovative methodologies.
• Build and nurture strong relationships withinternal and external stakeholders.
• Develop compelling demonstration scenarios and proof of concepts toshowcasethe value of optimization and AI tools to prospective clients.
• Contribute to theOptimAIcommunity, sharingexpertiseand supporting team growth.
• Work together in a team environment, using different supply chain software solutions.
• Combine deep contentexpertisewith an entrepreneurial spirit toidentifynew opportunities and drive continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or university degree — ideally in econometrics, applied economics, mathematics, commercial sciences, civil engineering, or commercial engineering

At least5years of relevant work experience in a similar position

Tech-savvy with a strong affinity for technology and digital solutions; previous experience in the IT sector or an IT-related background is considered a plus

Strong communicationskills and proven analytical problem-solving ability

Experienceinmentoring and collaborating within diverse, customer-centric teams

Currentlyresidingin the Netherlands andpreviousprofessional experience in the country

Experience inadvanced supply chain optimization platforms

Experience with DELMIA Quintiq or More Optimalis considered a plus

Fluent in both English and Dutch

A permanent contract and a gross monthly salary between€3500and €5000(based on40 hoursper week). The exact amount depends on your experience and the role;
