Job summary

BCG Platinion sucht Sie als Consultant Energy Utilities (alle Geschlechter) in den Niederlanden, um Energiesektor-Projekte zu gestalten. Sie arbeiten direkt mit Kunden und Teams an Lösungen für Vertrieb, Netze und IT-Infrastruktur und nutzen Datenplattformen zur Wertschöpfung.

Sie verfügen über ein abgeschlossenes Studium in Informatik oder Wirtschafts­informatik, mindestens zwei Jahre relevante Berufserfahrung und starke analytische Fähigkeiten.

Qualifications

• Abschluss in Informatik, Wirtschaftsinformatik oder einem verwandten Studiengang.
• Mindestens zwei Jahre Erfahrung in Energieversorgern, Softwareentwicklung und Projektmanagement.
• Erfahrung im Arbeiten mit Teams von Business Analysts und Entwicklern.
• Theoretische und praktische Erfahrung mit gängiger Energie-Software (SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud, SIV, Wilken).
• Ausgeprägte analytische Fähigkeiten, Qualitätsorientierung, Teamfokus.
• Grundverständnis der IT-Landschaften von Energieversorgern.
• Kommunikations- und Präsentationsfähigkeiten in Deutsch/Englisch; ggf Polnisch/Czech/Hungarian Vorteil.

Responsibilities

• Technische Unterstützung unserer Kunden aus der Energiebranche mit Schwerpunkt Energievertrieb, -Services, Kundenausprägungen und -netze; von Anforderungsanalyse bis Zielarchitektur.
• Übersetzung von Geschäfts-Konzepten in Lösungskonzepte für Umsetzungsteams (Use Cases, Capabilities, Requirements Engineering, Prozessdesign, Daten Domänen).
• Mitverantwortung für die erfolgreiche Implementierung spezifischer Energielösungen, inklusive CRM, Abrechnung, Preisgestaltung, Forecasting, Planung und Logistik sowie digitale Datenplattformen.
• Unterstützung unserer Kunden durch Transformationen, Koordination von Implementierungsaktivitäten und Anleitung von Delivery-Teams.
• Verbesserung der Lieferqualität durch Entwicklung und Weitergabe methodischer Ansätze.
• Entwicklung von Best Practices für Delivery-Teams in der Energieversorgungsindustrie.

As a Consultant Energy Utilities (all genders), you will work directly with our clients and colleagues at the Boston Consulting Group on projects to create added value from electricity and gas sales, customer solutions and energy networks and to build new or improved sales and network solutions that address modernization and digitization needs and thus make your contribution to the energy transition. You will develop new solutions for end customers and use data and digital platforms to develop solutions to open up new sources of revenue for our customers.

Shape the world of tomorrow

• Technical support for our customers from the energy industry with a special focus on energy sales, energy services, customer solutions and energy networks; from requirements analysis to the definition of the target architecture and implementation
• Support in the translation of business concepts into solution designs for implementation teams (e.g. detailing use cases, capability mapping, requirements engineering, process design, data domains and flow analyses)
• Taking hands‑on responsibility in the successful implementation of specific energy solutions, including CRM, billing, pricing, forecasting, planning and logistics solutions as well as digital data platforms
• Support our customers by managing transformation programs, coordinating implementation activities and guiding delivery teams (e.g. business analysts, developers)
• Improving delivery quality by developing and sharing methodological approaches
• Developing best practices for delivery teams in the energy supply industry

This is how you can make a difference

• You have successfully completed a degree in (business) informatics, business administration or a related course of study
• You have at least two years of experience in the context of energy suppliers, software development and management of implementation projects in the energy sales, energy grid or energy IT industry
• You have initial experience in working with teams of business analysts and developers across multiple sub-projects
• You have theoretical and practical experience in the design, implementation and configuration of industry-standard energy supply software (e.g. SAP, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Powercloud, SIV, Wilken)
• You have excellent analytical and conceptual skills, the drive to always achieve high-quality results and enjoy working with high-performing teams
• You have a basic understanding of the IT landscapes of energy suppliers including core systems, interfaces and current developments in data landscapes
• You are ready to take your communication and presentation skills to the next level to align teams and organizations around common goals and present our concepts and projects to IT stakeholders and business partners
• You communicate confidently in spoken and written German and English; knowledge of Polish, Czech, and Hungarian is an advantage
