Job summary

The Next Organization, a Bussum-based strategy consultancy, seeks an experienced Consultant Business & IT Architecture to shape architecture for sustainable growth. You’ll lead cross-disciplinary projects, translate strategy into concrete IT solutions, and guide client implementations with a focus on delivering tangible impact.

• Completed higher professional or university degree in a relevant field (computer science, business IT or business administration).
• Professional level Dutch to work with Dutch clients.

You step off the train or out of the car at Bussum Zuid station, cross the road and walk into our office. On the second floor you look out over the trees with birds singing in them, and every now and then a train passes by. In one corner colleagues are brainstorming while you finish the last slides for a proposal that will be presented shortly. Soft music plays in the background and someone puts on fresh coffee. Colleagues come in, greet each other and join one of the desks. Someone asks for your take on a strategic question that came up in a client conversation. In between there is time for some fresh air: two minutes away lies an open meadow, a place where people often walk and ideas take shape.

What you will do:

• Work in a team of colleagues with diverse backgrounds on strategic questions for both international and national clients. You give the project strategic direction and coordinate the team.
• Think about the core of the question and bring complex IT and business processes back to their essence. You translate strategic objectives into concrete solutions and IT architectures that really work.
• Move between all layers of the organisation: from operational level to the boardroom, you know better than anyone how to build bridges between IT and the organisation.
• Besides shaping the strategy you also guide the implementation and its set-up and delivery at the client. You get the client’s organisation moving and work with them to make the implementation a success, and you write the technical documentation and reports that support delivery.
• Build advisory skills in a learning environment with experienced professionals, among other things through internal and external training at the TNXTO Academy.

What we are looking for in you:

• Curiosity, an entrepreneurial and commercial mindset, self-starting and full of ideas.
• A broad interest in IT solutions such as ERP systems, data integration, low-code platforms and Artificial Intelligence.
• The ability to move easily between analysis, collaboration and an eye for detail.
• You keep up with current trends and developments so you can advise clients well.
• Experience guiding projects and teams in an advisory role.

• A completed higher professional or university degree in a relevant field, computer science, business IT or business administration.
• Command of Dutch at a professional level, so you can work with our Dutch clients.
