Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or law (or related).
• Proven experience in a compliance role in a regulated industry.
• Strong knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and frameworks.
• Detail-oriented with excellent analytical/problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration across teams.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance programs and policies to ensure adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular compliance audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvement.
• Monitor changes in legislation and regulatory requirements, providing guidance to management and staff on necessary adjustments.
• Prepare and deliver compliance training programs for employees to promote understanding of compliance obligations.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance is integrated into business processes.
• Investigate compliance violations and recommend corrective actions to mitigate risks.
• Prepare reports for senior management and regulatory bodies as required.
• Serve as a contact for regulatory agencies and manage communications related to compliance issues.
