Smart Freight Centre is seeking a Communications Intern to support social media and digital marketing efforts. You will help create engaging content, translate technical topics into clear narratives, and assist with event communications.

The role offers exposure to strategy days and cross-team collaboration in a Netherlands-based hybrid setting. You will draft content, manage publishing across channels, and assist in measuring performance to guide improvements.

Qualifications

• Passionate about communication and storytelling.
• Curious, eager to learn and grow.
• Creative and adaptable with a can-do attitude.
• Proactive, organized and able to manage multiple deadlines.
• Analytical with comfort using data to derive insights.
• Tech-savvy with MS Office; Canva experience a plus.
• Fluent in English; Dutch is a bonus.

Responsabilités

• Strategize yearly content and digital marketing plans for social media and newsletters.
• Create and publish content on LinkedIn, Bluesky and YouTube; design graphics and edit podcasts.
• Plan and execute social media campaigns for events like Smart Freight Week; build partner toolkits.
• Support email marketing campaigns using Salesforce and BeeFree, including newsletters and reminders.
• Measure monthly LinkedIn performance and translate insights into recommendations.
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent messaging.
