Job summary

Airswift is seeking a Commissioning Supervisor in North Holland to oversee pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation and testing of electrical infrastructure, including HV/MV substations and T&D networks.

You will ensure safe delivery, witness FAT/SAT, and collaborate with engineering teams. Fluency in English is required; Dutch is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor level or higher in Electrical Engineering.
• Hands-on experience with HV/MV substations is essential.
• Experience in witnessing FAT and SAT activities.

Responsibilities

• Supervise pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation and performance testing of electrical infrastructure.
• Witness FAT/SAT and ensure acceptance criteria are met.
• Ensure safe, high-quality delivery across technically demanding projects.

Required Education:

Degree in Electrical Engineering

Required Experience:

• Experience as a commissioning supervisor on HV/MV substations and transmission and distribution networks
• Experience supervising pre-commissioning, commissioning, energisation, and performance testing activities
• Experience witnessing and validating FAT and SAT
• 10 years of overall experience in electrical systems, testing, and commissioning

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of electrical and control equipment including transformers, protection systems, cabling, SCADA, and switchboards
• Demonstrated knowledge of commissioning procedures, test protocols, and acceptance criteria
• Strong quality and HSE awareness
• Fluent English

Preferred Qualifications:

Fluency in Dutch
