Job summary

Mars UK is seeking a CVS Lead (Commissioning, Validation & Start-up) in Veghel, Netherlands, to drive asset handover from Engineering to Operations and lead multiple change initiatives focused on packaging and PPWR. The role emphasizes a Vertical Start-up mindset and collaboration across engineering, operations and project teams.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in TPM or related manufacturing/engineering roles, strong planning, analytics, and English communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering or Economics.
• 3-5 years in TPM or manufacturing, operations, maintenance, CI, or project lead roles.
• Proven experience leading projects with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Ability to design and deliver training programs.
• Understanding of food manufacturing hygiene and safety standards.
• Proficient with operational planning, budget tracking and shopfloor tools.
• Strong analytical problem-solving and data-driven decision making.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead projects or significant workstreams within a large project with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Coordinate with Project Operations Pillar and partner with Project Manager throughout the lifecycle.
• Collaborate with Value Stream Manager and provide operational input in reviews.
• Partner with CVS Manager to build operational competencies and improve CVS tools.
• Plan and manage resources, schedules and activities during commissioning, validation and start-up.
• Apply standard change management and engineering processes to ensure compliance and safety.
• Possibly adjust hours to align with commissioning activities; some weekend work.
• Travel domestically and internationally as required (FATs, learning from other projects).
• Be part of Region CVS Community of Expertise to drive CI of tools and skills.
