Job summary

Linnk Group is looking for an experienced Commissioning Manager to lead HV substation commissioning on major Dutch grid projects in Zuid-Holland. You will plan, coordinate and supervise commissioning through energisation and handover, collaborating with engineering, construction and testing teams.

The role requires strong MV/HV commissioning expertise, stakeholder engagement with clients and network operators, and a focus on safety and quality to meet schedules.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English preferred

• Track outstanding technical issues and support project close-out
• Ensure commissioning activities are carried out in line with safety and quality requirements
• Support project teams during earlier engineering phases to identify commissioning constraints before site execution

Job description

A specialist power infrastructure business is looking to appoint an experienced Commissioning Manager to support the delivery of high-voltage substation projects in the Netherlands.

This is a senior site and project delivery position with responsibility for planning, coordinating and overseeing commissioning activities through to energisation and final handover.

The role will involve working closely with engineering, construction, testing teams and external stakeholders to make sure projects are technically ready, safely commissioned and delivered in line with programme requirements.

Candidate Profile

• Strong background in MV / HV substation commissioning
• Experience managing or coordinating commissioning teams
• Good knowledge of testing, energisation and handover processes
• Comfortable working across both technical and project interfaces
• Experience on Dutch grid infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous
• BEI HS knowledge or certification would be beneficial
• Dutch and English language capability preferred
• Electrical Engineering or equivalent technical background
