You test and commission new installations such as battery, hybrid and propulsion systems, power management and automation systems. You prepare service reports and are solution-oriented.

It may happen that a yacht somewhere in the world experiences a malfunction. You therefore have no problem occasionally getting on a plane to solve the issue and help the client get back on course as quickly as possible.

This is what you bring

A completed vocational (MBO) education in Electrical Engineering

At least 2 years of demonstrable work experience as Commissioning Engineer within yacht building

Knowledge of general electrical installations (400 V, 230 V, 24 V) including the associated control systems

Experience with testing and commissioning new installations such as battery, hybrid and propulsion systems, power management and automation systems

Knowledge of standards, safety regulations, quality and inspection requirements

VCA-VOL and NEN 3240 certification, or willingness to obtain these

Knowledge of the Dutch and English language, both spoken and written

Preferably residing in the Amsterdam/Aalsmeer area

Furthermore, you are

Independent and proactive

Customer-oriented and solution-focused

Someone who performs well under high pressure

Accurate in your work and flexible
