Job summary

WTS Energy is seeking a Commissioning Engineer to test, troubleshoot and fine-tune electrical installations and control systems aboard luxury vessels, ensuring performance, safety and reliability before delivery.

You will travel internationally, perform on-board tests, document results, and work with shipyards and clients. A strong focus on quality and fluent English are essential, with Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• MBO-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience commissioning electrical systems on ships.
• Experience in electrical engineering and/or automation.
• Strong focus on quality.
• Good English communication; Dutch a plus.
• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.

As a Commissioning Engineer, you’ll test, troubleshoot and fine-tune complex electrical installations and control systems, ensuring everything performs safely, reliably, and to the highest standards before delivery.

What will you do?

What do you bring?

• An MBO-level qualification in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.

• A strong focus on quality.


• Good communication skills in English (mandatory). Dutch language skills are a plus, but not essential.


• Willingness to travel internationally occasionally.
