Job summary

Een internationale organisatie zoekt een ervaren Commercial Controller om de commerciële financiële prestaties van de Nederlandse vestiging te beheren. In deze rol fungeer je als een vertrouwde zakenpartner voor de Salesorganisatie, waarbij je gegevens omzet in inzichten die invloed hebben op groei en operationele uitmuntendheid. Je hebt minimaal vijf jaar ervaring in commercieel controleren en bent vloeiend in zowel het Nederlands als het Engels. Het aanbod omvat een aantrekkelijk salaris en sterke secundaire voordelen.

Qualifications

What are you going to do?

As Commercial Controller Netherlands, you take full ownership of the commercial financial performance for the Dutch business. Operating as a trusted business partner to the Sales organization, you translate data into insights and drive commercial decision‑making, directly influencing growth and operational excellence.

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Manage the Sales P&L for the Netherlands, delivering accurate management reporting and clear performance insights
• Analyse revenue, margins, and commercial KPIs, identifying risks and opportunities through variance analysis
• Act as strategic advisor to Sales and Commercial teams, supporting decisions on pricing, promotions, and commercial strategy
• Lead budgeting and forecasting cycles, building financial models to support growth and performance improvement
• Play a key role in tenders and commercial business cases, translating financial insights into actionable recommendations
• Identify opportunities for improvement and drive process optimisation within commercial finance
• Strengthen data quality and reporting structures to enhance decision‑making across the organization

Job requirements:

• Minimum five years of experience in commercial controlling, FP&A, business analysis, or management reporting
• Proven experience within commercial or sales‑driven environments
• Strong affinity with tenders, pricing strategies, and sales controlling
• Advanced analytical mindset with ability to translate numbers into business impact
• Demonstrated experience in business partnering with Sales teams
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• Fluent in Dutch and English
