Job summary

JDE Peet’s in Utrecht is seeking a Coffee sample room Specialist to support the Quality team in determining if our coffees are on specification. You will prepare samples for tastings, perform checks, and help ensure hygiene and proper lab practices.

The role requires independence, teamwork, fluency in Dutch and English, and familiarity with MS Excel and SAP. You will coordinate with logistics, suppliers and external labs, contributing to our global coffee and tea ambitions.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Dutch and English.
• Experience with MS Excel.
• Strong focus on hygiene and neatness.
• Affinity with coffee products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare incoming coffee samples for daily tastings, including roasting, physical checks, and brewing/serving.
• Release or reject tested coffee in SAP.
• Maintain lab hygiene and proper use of equipment to ensure testing momentum.
• Coordinate with logistics providers, suppliers and other stakeholders.
• Organize sample shipments to external labs and manage related administration.
