Qualifications

• Proven experience as a CO2 Welder in heavy steel construction.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and welding specifications.

• Capability to weld large steel components with CO2 equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Familiarity with safety procedures and PPE.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and welding specifications.
• Set up welding equipment, including CO2 machines and related tools.
• Weld heavy steel components using CO2 welding techniques to meet project requirements.
• Ensure proper fusion, penetration, and weld quality according to specified standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on welded joints to verify adherence to project specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance as necessary.
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Adhere to project timelines and meet project deadlines.
