Job summary

ENGNR is seeking experienced CO2 welders for heavy steel construction projects across the Netherlands. You will fabricate and weld heavy steel components using CO2 welding techniques, ensuring high-quality and safe workmanship on challenging sites.

The role requires demonstrable CO2 welding experience, the ability to read drawings, and strict adherence to welding codes. A minimum high school diploma or equivalent and a VCA certificate are preferred. ZZP opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience as a CO2 welder in heavy steel construction projects.
• In-depth knowledge of CO2 welding processes and techniques.
• Skilled in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications.
• Familiar with welding marks and welding codes.
• Skilled in welding heavy steel components with CO2 welding equipment.

Responsibilities

• Reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints and welding specifications.
• Setting up welding equipment, including CO2 welding equipment and associated tools.
• Welding heavy steel components with CO2 techniques according to project requirements.
• Ensure correct fusion, penetration and weld quality according to standards.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks on welds to meet project specifications.
• Maintain welding equipment and perform routine maintenance.
• Follow safety protocols and keep the workplace neat and organised.
• Follow project planning and meet deadlines.
