Van Hoorn Carbide in the Netherlands is seeking a CNC Machine Operator to join our two-shift production team. You will set up, operate and monitor CNC grinding machines used for high-quality carbide milling tools, following drawings and production orders, with a focus on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• MBO level technical education or equivalent.
• Experience reading technical drawings or willingness to learn.
• Affinity with CNC machines, metalworking and automated production.
• Accurate, quality-focused and safety-conscious approach to work.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust and operate CNC machines.
• Read and interpret production orders and drawings.
• Prepare tools and materials and load them into machines correctly.
• Monitor production process and adjust settings as needed.
• Measure and inspect products using appropriate equipment.
• Identify deviations and resolve them with colleagues.
• Keep work area clean, safe and organized.
• Contribute ideas to improve quality, safety and efficiency.
