Job summary

Nebius Group is hiring a Detection & Response Engineer to build and run our D&R capability from the ground up. You will own detection engineering, threat intelligence, and incident response across Nebius Cloud, working in a remote-friendly Europe-wide setup.

You will architect detection across cloud and bare-metal environments, extend D&R pipelines, and collaborate with Compliance and Engineering. This role suits a senior security professional ready to scale a security program at Nebius.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security operations, detection engineering, or incident response.
• Experience with cloud-native environments and container-based infrastructure.
• Hands-on rules/detections work in SIEM platforms and automation tooling.

Responsibilities

• Detection development with low false positives/negatives across multi-team stack.
• Architect and operate detection coverage across cloud and bare-metal environments.
• Lead end-to-end incident response including scoping, containment, and post-incident reviews.
• Integrate threat intelligence into detections and IR playbooks.
