Job summary

Xebia in Amsterdam is seeking a Cloud Data / AI Engineer to turn complex raw data into strategic assets and power modern AI solutions. You will design, build, and optimize scalable cloud data platforms and serverless data pipelines for global clients.

You will deploy retrieval-augmented generation on AWS Bedrock or GCP Vertex AI, work with Python and SQL, and collaborate with a team of experts across the Benelux in a hybrid setup between home, client sites, and our Amsterdam offices.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of hands-on software or data engineering experience building production-grade data pipelines.
• Strong Python and SQL programming skills.
• Experience with cloud data platforms such as BigQuery, Dataflow, or Dataproc.
• Familiarity with orchestration tools (Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
• Experience with modern AI frameworks and vector databases is a plus.
