Senior Client Development Analyst, Financial Services Practice, EMEA

Perform support of varied client development and business generation projects within the Financial Services Practice in EMEA and globally. Work closely with consultants, senior associates, associates and other industry & functional practices to develop bespoke capability documents, conduct research, produce insights, and manage content for business development.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the creation of business development content and insights for pitches, relationship building and strategic account planning; conduct analyses to develop insight about clients, competitors, process outcomes, and placement performance.
• Synthesize internal and external information to generate untapped insights and opportunities, giving Spencer Stuart a competitive edge.
• Liaise with consultants and the client development team to create tailored, client‑facing materials based on industry expertise, including strategy, competitive landscape and culture insights.
• Draft storylines and narratives underscoring the firm’s value proposition and excellence in serving new and prospective clients.
• Share learnings from pitches and business development initiatives across the CDT team to refine processes, responsiveness and pitch effectiveness.
• Take active ownership of content management and distribution; maintain centralized systems for business development materials.
• Play a key role in driving projects aligned with Global and Regional FS strategy, carrying out complex analyses to support the practice or specific business opportunities.
• Develop and maintain good relationships with key stakeholders and collaborators across the firm.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of full‑time experience in an international corporate environment, ideally in a professional services or consulting firm.
• Strong analytical, research and presentation skills with business acumen and problem‑solving capabilities.
• Self‑directed, collaborative, organized, detail‑oriented, with strong project‑management skills.
• Passion for working with people, clear communication, maturity, positive attitude and the ability to collaborate within a global team.
• Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and experience creating client‑ready presentations.
• Experience contributing to major research efforts covering industry and business trends, including data collection from databases such as Capital IQ, LinkedIn, BoardEx, etc.
• Knowledge of or strong interest in the Financial Services industry.
• Education: Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree.
