Job summary

EW Facility Services is hiring a Room Attendant for a 30–35 hour week in Amsterdam. You will clean bedrooms and bathrooms, change towels and linen, and prepare each room for the next guest. Join a small, international housekeeping team working daytime hours.

Previous housekeeping experience is not required but welcome. SVS cleaning diploma is available for the role, and training and growth opportunities are offered.

Job description

Hotel Lancaster is a boutique hotel close to Amsterdam city centre and easy to reach by public transport. Tram and bus stops are only a few minutes away, and Amsterdam Central Station is around 15 minutes away by public transport.

You will work in a small and international housekeeping team. Together, you make sure the hotel rooms are clean, fresh and ready for the guests. As Room Attendant, you clean bedrooms and bathrooms, make the beds, change towels and linen, and prepare each room for the next guest.

It is a good fit if you enjoy working with a small team, like staying active during your working day and are looking for a job with mainly daytime hours.

• 30–35 hours per week, divided in 5 days & at least 2 weekends per month
• On busy days, you may finish later as the working day ends when all rooms are clean and ready
• Gross hourly salary from €15.52, depending on your work experience*
• A full-time job of 30-35 hours per week
• Salary paid every 4 weeks, so 13 payments per year
• Travel allowance of €0.14 per kilometre if you travel 20 km or more per day
• 8% holiday allowance, paid in May
• 10% holiday hours accrual and 5% year-end bonus
• 26 vacation days based on full-time employment and an extra day off on your birthday
• A 7-month contract with a 1-month probation period, with the intention to extend
